ChefPassport runs corporate Christmas parties in Luxembourg where your team cooks a festive meal together, then sits down to enjoy it. Held at Kachatelier in Windhof, twenty minutes from Luxembourg city, every event is managed end-to-end by a real chef — ingredients, dietary needs, setup and clean-up included. Groups from 8 to 60 people, with six cuisine options and full flexibility for drinks and festive touches.
Your team rolls up their sleeves and cooks a festive meal together — aprons on, music up. Far more memorable than another set-menu restaurant booking.
Venue, chef, ingredients, equipment, festive setup and clean-up — all handled. You send the invite and turn up.
Six cuisines, all dietary needs covered, and a sit-down meal to toast the year. Bring your own wine or champagne for the table.
A corporate cooking class in Luxembourg turns your Christmas party into something people actually do, not just sit through. Teams work in small groups to prep, sear, roll and plate a three-course meal — aprons on, music playing, conversation flowing naturally around shared tasks. The meal becomes the memory, not just the backdrop.
Passive dinners rely on seating charts and alcohol to spark energy. Cooking side by side breaks hierarchy without forced icebreakers. The finance analyst who never speaks in meetings turns out to make perfect pasta. The developer who joined remotely in March finally meets the ops team over a chopping board. Laughter happens because something real is happening.
By the time you sit down together, the room feels different. You've made something as a group. The food tastes better because your colleagues cooked it, and the toast at the end lands because you've already spent two hours collaborating, not performing.
Your team arrives at Kachatelier in Windhof to find workstations prepped, ingredients measured, and a chef who's run hundreds of these events. After a welcome and a quick brief, everyone splits into small teams — three to five people per station, mixed across departments and seniority.
Each group tackles part of the menu: one station pan-fries salmon with a citrus glaze, another rolls fresh pasta by hand, a third chars vegetables and whisks a herb dressing. The chef circulates, coaching technique, answering questions, keeping the pace relaxed but purposeful. Music plays. Someone inevitably steals a taste before plating. The room smells like garlic, rosemary, caramelised onions — whatever the menu demands.
Halfway through, the separate dishes start coming together. Plates are assembled, garnishes added, nerves appear as people realise they're about to serve their own work. Then everyone sits down together at a long table, pours the wine or champagne you've brought, and eats what they've made.
Conversations during the meal are different from a standard Christmas dinner. There's pride, ribbing about whose gnocchi held together best, genuine compliments. The chef joins for questions or stories. No speeches unless you want them. Just a team that's cooked, laughed, and eaten together.
This format works for Luxembourg-based teams, hybrid groups coming together in person for the year-end celebration, and companies using December as a reason to gather their local office. Typical groups: consultancies, finance firms, tech scale-ups, NGOs, institutions with mixed-skill and mixed-seniority teams.
Introverts prefer this to a loud bar or forced games. There's a task, a structure, and a reason to talk that isn't small talk. Extroverts enjoy the energy and the chance to move around. Non-drinkers and colleagues with dietary restrictions — vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher, allergies — are fully included because the menu is tailored in advance.
If your team includes people who've never met in person, or if you're trying to celebrate the year without spending three hours at a restaurant table, this works. If you want something festive but not cheesy, active but not exhausting, this works. If you need to book something memorable that doesn't require your ops team to project-manage it, this works.
Location and access: Kachatelier is in Windhof, roughly twenty minutes by car from Luxembourg city centre, with onsite parking. The studio is fully equipped — workstations, ovens, utensils, aprons, festive setup included. No need to source a separate venue or caterer.
Group size and pricing: We host groups from 8 to 60 people. Pricing starts at €2,900 for an intimate group of 8–10, €4,200 for 16–20, and €6,700 for a full venue booking of 36–40. Larger groups up to 60 are possible; request a tailored quote for exact numbers and any add-ons.
Duration: Most Christmas parties run for three hours — thirty minutes of welcome and briefing, ninety minutes of cooking, then an hour to sit, eat and celebrate together. You can extend the evening if you'd like more time at the table.
Dietary needs: Every menu is adapted in advance. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, halal, kosher, and allergy accommodations are handled as standard. We ask for dietary details when you book and prepare separate portions or entirely separate dishes as required.
Booking process: December dates fill early — mid-September through October is typical lead time for Christmas parties. Confirm your preferred date, group size and cuisine choice, and we handle the rest. We respond to inquiries within approximately four hours and manage all logistics through to the event.
We've run interactive cooking events for over 200 companies since 2019, including Amazon, Google, the European Central Bank, Deloitte, and JP Morgan. Post-event surveys average 4.9 out of 5 for satisfaction. Teams return year after year because the format works — people talk about the evening for weeks, not just the next morning.
Every event is led by a real chef who manages the session start to finish — menu design, ingredient sourcing, dietary customisation, setup, facilitation, and clean-up. You don't coordinate vendors, chase suppliers, or worry about timing. You send the calendar invite, turn up, and your team has a Christmas party they actually remember.
If you're planning an employee reward event or looking for something beyond the usual December dinner, this is it. A festive meal your team makes together, a toast at the end, and zero logistical stress for you.
