Chinese dumpling cooking class Luxembourg — Asian Delights
Fold together or the filling falls out. The best icebreaker in our programme.
Heather — 'The Cooking Musician' — lives by a philosophy: all problems can be solved with an open mind while sharing a meal. Her dumpling class is the proof. Teams roll dough from scratch, collaborate on fillings, and perfect the fold in a session where the technique is intuitive, the results are delicious, and nobody stays a stranger for long.

What you'll cook
Hand-rolled dough from scratch
The base of everything — flour, water, and technique. Teams learn to roll dough to the right thickness and cut perfect wrappers. A meditative, satisfying start to the class.
3 filling variations — pork, vegetarian, shrimp
Three distinct fillings prepared in parallel — each station becomes a mini kitchen. Teams swap and taste across variations, discovering how small changes in seasoning transform the result.
Master 5 classic folding techniques
The signature skill of the class — the pleated fold, the crescent, the potsticker, and more. Friendly rivalry over who folds the cleanest dumpling is real, and the results are always impressive.

Why are dumplings so good for team building?
Making dumplings requires constant communication and collaboration — one person rolls, another fills, another folds. The technique is intuitive but takes teamwork to perfect. It's also the most photogenic cooking activity we run.
Who is Heather "The Cooking Musician"?
Heather learned to cook from her grandmother and deepened her skills through her Taiwanese-American family, then exploring Chinese regional cuisines. Now based in Luxembourg, she teaches with warmth, storytelling, and a philosophy she lives by: all problems can be solved while sharing a meal.
Can we accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes — dumplings can be filled with vegetarian, vegan, or meat fillings. All dietary preferences are accommodated with advance notice.
What's the difference between this and the Chinese Classic Feast?
The Dumplings class (Asian Delights) is 90 minutes, more accessible, and entirely focused on the hands-on joy of dumpling-making. The Chinese Classic Feast is 120 minutes, features a full 3-course menu across Chinese regional styles, and is a more premium dining experience.
Is this good for newly formed teams?
It's one of our top recommendations for new teams. The folding process naturally puts people shoulder-to-shoulder, creating physical closeness and cooperation from the first moment.
