What you'll cook
Pad Thai with tamarind & fresh herbs
The iconic street-food noodle dish — rice noodles, tamarind, fish sauce, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. Your team masters the wok toss and the art of balancing sour, sweet, and savoury.
Green or red curry paste from scratch
Whole spices, fresh galangal, and lemongrass ground by hand in a mortar. Your team learns to build authentic curry paste before finishing a fragrant coconut curry — technique you cannot get from a jar.
Coconut rice & Thai flavour-balancing
Perfectly steamed jasmine rice finished with coconut cream, paired with a lesson in the four pillars of Thai flavour: sweet, sour, salty, spicy. The skill that transforms a good cook into a great one.

Do we need any cooking experience?
None at all. Chef Corrie pitches every session so complete beginners feel confident and capable. The techniques are accessible and the focus is on fun, not perfection.
How spicy does it get?
Completely adjustable. All dishes can be made mild, medium, or hot. Specify your team's heat preference when booking and we'll set the chillies accordingly.
Is Thai cooking class good for corporate team building?
It's one of our most popular corporate experiences. Thai cooking requires constant coordination — grinding pastes, balancing flavours, timing the wok. It's naturally collaborative and produces a lot of laughter.
Can we customise the Thai menu?
Yes. We offer a Custom Menu add-on if you have specific dishes in mind or dietary requirements that need a tailored approach. Contact us to discuss.
What's the maximum group size?
Kachatelier has 8 professional workstations and accommodates up to 40 guests in a single session. Larger groups are split across parallel sessions.
