Remote teams stay remote for good reason — talent, flexibility, cost — but connection doesn't happen by accident. ChefPassport's virtual cooking classes bring distributed colleagues together for live, interactive experiences that create the informal moments and shared memories dispersed work makes rare. Professional chefs, optional worldwide ingredient delivery, and full event production mean the organiser can join in rather than host.
Run a single session for your European team or parallel regional classes for colleagues in APAC, EMEA and the Americas — same menu, tailored timing.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher — menus and optional ingredient kits are customised for each participant without organiser effort.
Everyone cooks, tastes and problem-solves in real time. The format creates parallel engagement that passive webinars and presentations can't match.

By cuisine
Pick the cuisine that fits your team — every menu adapts to the group.
You choose the cuisine and date. We send your team the recipe and optional ingredient kit, then bring everyone together on Zoom or Teams with a professional chef. The chef demonstrates, the team cooks side by side, asks questions in real time, and shares a meal together on screen. A dedicated virtual producer manages the flow, breakout rooms and tech so the organiser can relax and join in.
For distributed teams this format removes the friction of shared location and travel, while keeping the live interaction and sensory connection that passive webinars can't deliver. Research links remote work to higher stress and loneliness even when engagement stays steady, making deliberate shared experiences — especially ones that feel informal and hands-on — more valuable for culture and retention.
Cooking creates parallel engagement: everyone is active, not just a few extroverts. The task levels hierarchy — junior and senior colleagues measure flour, chop garlic and rescue boiling pans in the same moment. The chef's guidance gives nervous cooks permission to experiment, and the shared meal at the end creates a natural moment to talk about something other than work.
Virtual formats also offer advantages over in-person: you can run more frequent, shorter sessions; you can include colleagues across continents in the same class; ingredient kits and recipes can be tailored to individual dietary needs without the complexity of venue catering; and the per-event cost is lower, so teams repeat them quarterly or use them for smaller cohorts like new joiners or project groups.
Small teams (up to 20) work as a single group with high interaction. Mid-sized groups (21–60) can run in parallel breakout kitchens with a roving chef, or stay together with a VIP guest upgrade for a manager or client. Large gatherings (60–120+) use live Q&A, dish challenges and producer-led pacing to keep energy high and everyone visible.
Ingredient delivery is optional. Some clients send curated kits worldwide; others share a shopping list and let participants source locally. Both models work — the connective value comes from the live, facilitated cooking, not the box.
The fastest friction point for any remote event is logistics. ChefPassport handles platform setup, chef briefing, dietary accommodations, recipe formatting, optional kit sourcing and shipping, calendar invites, and a dedicated producer on the day. The organiser receives a 24-hour proposal after the first call, a single invoice, and a point of contact who has run hundreds of these events.
We also accommodate time zones: European morning classes work for APAC evenings; late-afternoon sessions bridge US East and West. If your team spans more than eight hours, we can run parallel regional sessions with the same menu and combine for a short closing toast.
Research from McKinsey shows that three in four cross-functional teams underperform on key metrics — concentrated events that rebuild coordination can unblock work the org chart cannot.
