Chef Max Tripoli was born into a full-blood Sicilian family in the United States of America. His parents were deeply rooted in the restaurant industry, and when he was only five years old, they moved to Rome to open another family restaurant. As a child, Max spent his time playing with kitchen tools and learning the secrets of Italian cuisine, with a focus on Sicilian and Roman dishes.
Max went on to work in several Roman restaurants that specialized in traditional recipes, where he had the opportunity to work with highly respected chefs. Seeking a new adventure, Max joined the kitchen team at the American Academy in Rome six years ago, under the guidance of Alice Waters. Here, he specialized in sustainable, organic, and seasonal ingredients, in line with the Alice Waters philosophy.
After a year, Max turned his attention to cooking classes and show cooking, and he has been immersed in this world for the last five years. With a deep passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to sustainability, Chef Max Tripoli is a rising star in the culinary world, bringing his expertise and knowledge to aspiring chefs and food enthusiasts alike.
